Our Services
Individual Therapy
Your first session will be primarily for information gathering to learn about the reasons that bring you into therapy. After completing your assessment, we will work together to establish goals and decide on the most effective treatment to meet those goals.

The most common reason we see people for individual therapy are:
-
Depression
-
Anxiety
-
Attachment issues
-
Adjustment challenges
-
Grief & Loss
-
Parenting
-
Addiction
-
Post-Traumatic Stress
-
Women’s issues

Whatever your reason for seeking individual therapy, we are interested in supporting you.
Telehealth
Managing life is unquestionably tricky; between school, work, parenting, and unexpected daily challenges, getting to therapy can be at the bottom of your to-do list. With telehealth, you can take care of your mental health needs from the comfort of your living room. We offer HIPPAA compliant telehealth services. All you need is a private space and a reliable internet connection.
Couple's Therapy
Couple’s therapy differs from Individual Therapy in the sense that the relationship is the actual “client.” Work is done to improve communication patterns by helping each partner learn to listen and attentively respond to their partner. At Bridging
Communities & Counseling Services, we will help you rebuild the communication
bridge that has been closed by past wounds or emotional distance in the relationship. If arguments are frequent or explosive, we will help decrease the intensity of conflict to promote healthy communication. Work may also focus on increasing emotional and physical bound in the relationship.
Bilingual Services
Services are available to members in our community for whom English is their second language. Most of our clinicians are bilingual and are happy to provide services in your native language or in English. Please see the list of our available languages.
Group Therapy
Sometimes, the overwhelming nature of our feelings or thoughts can make us feel isolated like we are the only ones who are hurting in this way. Although group counseling might not be your preferred method of treatment, the empathy and support you can give and receive in a group counseling setting can be an invaluable asset for understanding and improving your mental health.
Ear acupuncture involves gentle placement of up to five small, sterilized disposable needles into specific sites on each ear.
The recipients sit quietly for 30-45 minutes allowing the treatment to take effect.
Ear acupuncture is an adjunct therapy which is clinically effective, cost-efficient, drug-free and compatible cross-culturally.
It can easily be established within behavioral health, addictions or disaster relief settings or in any location.
